There used to be two kinda tricky ways to get to my cache but recently a brand spanking new walking track has been put in near the previously existing mountain bike track. You can still do them both, they just aren't hard now!
Number one below is a lovely little walk which has special meaning to me as I used to enjoy jogging along it when it was just an old overgrown mountain bike trail that used to get super muddy!
1. Go to co ordinates S 44° 23.630 E 171° 12.448 (a cattle stop on the road) and head down the mountain bike trail, turn left at the bottom and walk for about ten mins (maybe five now?) until you get to the creek and two footbridges.
2. Head along the road to co-ordinates S 44° 23.542 E 171° 12.022 (the creek goes under the road here). There is an official track on the south side of the creek but you can also head straight down the bank on the north side...
Have fun and please use leaves to cover up your tracks and prevent a track form forming and leaving a clear path right to the cache!
