Geocache Description:

This is a basic two-stage multi hidden in a park in Durham.

This is a nice park in southwest Durham that I've been near hundreds of times without realizing it. It contains a disc golf course, some paved trails, a big open field, and a basketball half-court (two baskets - adult sized & kid sized). It also contains some wooded areas which now have two stages of a multi-cache in them.

Your total walk doing this cache should be less than a half-mile, but there is at least one stream to cross (either by an easy jump-over, or walking over a convenient log). The terrain is a bit challenging, but I did place it with the assistance of my intrepid 3.5 year old son / geobuddy. We ran into some thorns, but they can be avoided with care. Long pants might be a good idea, though (particularly on a day like today when the stream had a layer of ice on it!!)

Final stage is an ammo box stocked with some goodies. Happy trading. Remember to CITO.
