NEW TERRITORY - NEW JOGGING/BIKING TRAIL
Just what you can find by going down to the end of some streets. While I was out looking around, I found this new concrete trail along Buffalo Bayou. Just had to put a cache around this virgin trail. This bike/hiking trail is being built by Alan J Atkinson and the BUFFALO BAYOU PARTNERSHIP. Soon there will be more trails along Buffalo Bayou all the way out to Brady Island. This biking trail will connect up to the pathways on the West side of downtown.
You might even get to see BOSUN or CAPTAIN J passing in the bayou. Check out the rest of the trail, both East and West.
Cache is a small bottle containing some small trinkets, some Doves, pencil and log sheet.
For more information on the nearby bikepath, go the the May 12, 2005 issue of the Houston Press and search for "Path to Nowhere". It tells how the pathway came about - interesting.
