Geocache Description:

A easy magnetic sign only micro.

These 2 small waterfalls were first descriped in writing in 1851 by Lafayette Houghton Bunnell, M.D. a member of the Mariposa Battalion as they searched for Mono Indians in an effort to move them to a reservation near Fresno Flats. At that time California Grizzly Bears roamed this area. Now it's animals of another breed who roam here, especially during the summer months! As a youngster I remember a very busy, and rowdy at times, restaurant, bar and dancehall just across the creek. The cache is a sign only micro that will take a little searching to locate. You do not need to stand in the road to locate the cache. Control small chrildren as the road can be VERY busy. The trail up the creek accesses other caches.
