GeoWoodstock III is getting closer and we need to get some organizational work done! Event starts at 6:30pm and ends when we're done.
The event will be held at the home of one of the most (in)famous PITA cache hiders in NEFGA country - Zephyrus. Street address for the GPS impaired is 556 Pine Forest Trail. Parking most likely will be along the main road with a short hike to the actual coordinates. We might consider holding his home hostage after the event to procure coordinates to some of his more insidious puzzle caches.
This event is the third in a series of planning events for GeoWoodstock III. Seating is limited so please RSVP by email to me if you plan to attend. Please note! Anyone attending will be considered to have volunteered for MANY HOURS of ACTUAL WORK with NO PAY and probably NO APPRECIATION (at least by the general geocaching community)! Am I trying to scare people off? Yes! Only serious volunteers need attend! Am I exaggerating a bit? maybe... For those not able to attend this event, we will have less demanding planning events in the future for those who would like to help in a lesser manner.
We will also be discussing various geocache hiding techniques, group geocaching etiquette, and various and sundry geocaching topics to keep this event kosher and legal.
This event will include a special event cache that must be found and signed to earn your smiley.
It might be nice to bring something for me.... oops! I mean everyone to eat or drink. I suggest chocolate.
