A pleasant rural spot not far from the junction of several footpaths a short distance from Basingstoke.
We have deliberately not given too much information to encourage you to make your own way to the cache site using any of the footpaths available.
The paths are quite rutted and can be muddy in wet weather so wellingtons are recommended and the path may not be suitable for pushchairs and buggies.
The cache was a standard ammo box when it was first place 11 years ago but time took its toll so it is now plastic lock box and is located in land belonging to the Manydown estate.
Jane Austen was often a guest at Manydown House.
This is our first cache so please let us know what you think.
