Mountainbike Multi (Kentmere) Multi-Cache

fellsmanhiker: I have been overwhelmed with support for keeping this cache live,well one cacher to be honest,Martlakes and Freya,plus a suggestion from the clarks to split the multi up and make it 3 separate caches,good idea, but no,I had great hopes for this cache,it was to be the first of many bike related caches,but due to a lack of interest on this one, that idea has been abandoned,it does seem, that the best caches (the more physically challenging ones), are the least visited.

Geocache Description:


The above co-ords are for the start of the multi and for car parking and NOT the cache. This multi has been set with mountainbiking cachers in mind,(I can't be the only one surely?)the round can of course be walked, it's about 9 miles in total,and is in 4 parts,the round is one of my favourite mountainbiking routes,and involves the ascent of Garburn Pass,which means carrying or pushing the bike,it is also 90 per cent off road,(bridle ways) It must be stated this multi is for experienced bikers only,as some parts of the round are very steep and very rough indeed.Starting at the above co-ords,head south east down the road for about three quarters of a mile until the bridleway to Highhouse is reached,then apart from a small section of road at Kentmere, the rest is off road.Part 1 a small cache at N54 24.083 W002 51.942
and contains the co-ords for Part 2.


Part 2 has the co-ords for Part 3 on the underside of the lid and also in a sealed bag.Part 3 contains co-ords for 4 the final part.
Ordnance survey map Outdoor Leisure7 or equivalent should also be taken.
