Geocache Description:

The cache is hidden around the Fairburn Ings Nature Reserve. 'Ings' is of old Norse origin and means "damp or marshy land" a reference to the village being flooded regularly by the River Aire. The flooding produced huge expanses of water which have provided perfect conditions for a nature reserve. A mecca for ornithologists. The cache is a 0.4 litre plastic box containing small treasures.
