Coon Condo (Low Rent)
This cache is to bring back memories of Paintfiction's
Coon Condo Cache. We remember trying this one just before one of the events in
Jacksonville. When we went out there, it was raining, thundering and lightning.
We made our way about half way out and found that the tide was too high. So we
grabbed our garbage bags to put on our feet... NOT. We soon found out that high
tide was not the time to be doing this one. The water was so deep that the
garbage bags would not work. Then the lightning was starting to hit really
close. No more trying on this cache today. Would try it again at a later time.
Two weeks later we tried it again, the tide was low and the sun was shinning.
Success and glad this one was over with.
This cache is similar to Paintfiction's but it is (Low
Rent), you will see the difference when you get there. You are searching for an
ammo box full of goodies. First finder will be able to grab a small FM portable
radio.
A word to the wise, check the tides first. Bring boots.
Find a place to park, as there are no parking signs all around. You will
probably have to walk about 1/2 mile after finding a legal parking place. Do not
cross any fences! I hope I have named all the warnings. You will be glad when
this one is over.
