*NOTE* Cache has changed from an ammo can to a decon container.
Hint has also been updated...
In 1854 D.C. Carr settled this ranch. He and his brother, J.C.
Carr, came to Texas in 1840 and were instrumental in the early
growth of the cities of West and Abbott.
This ranch remains in the Carr family and has several historic
Indian remains, such as a camp and burial mound. There is also a
cave and well on the property. The cave can be found at the coords
N 31 51.711 W 097 04.831.
This place is a great place for a CITO hunt. When you arrive at
the cache, in front of the Historic Marker is some low set barbed
wire. Approx. 80 feet north is a driveway to enter the area. Be
VERY CAREFUL looking for the cave and well in low light situations.
The well and cave are northwest of the cache and not blocked
off...
Have fun!!!
