This is a small yet
popular "lake" used during season for catch and release fishing. It
runs adjacent to the feed from the DuPage River to Northside Park
just to the east.
Entering from the
East near Gary Avenue is the only LEGAL route. All other routes
cross private property. The nearest parking available is at the
following two locations;
On Gary Avenue at
the now Defunct Gable's Lounge

Court, however you will have to walk around the north side of the
lake to enter from the east to stay off private

Parking along Gary
Avenue or Prairie Avenue will get you a quick
ticket.
If you want to
visit a little more in the area, Cosley Zoo is just to the north on
Gary at N 41 52.682' W 088 07.185 or just to the south/west is
Lincoln Marsh which contains a series of caches WE'RE LOST! WE'RE
