Birdfish Mystery Cache

A puzzle cache where you work out the location for yourself.
The co-ordinates above are for the middle of the Tay Bridge. The cache is hidden somewhere within a ten mile radius of these co-ordinates.
First of all work out the place where the cache is hidden. The place name has 7 letters - the first four are the name of a type of bird, the last four are the name of a type of fish. The last letter of the birds name is also the first letter of the name of the fish.
This place has two areas of interest. Go to the first, and most obvious one of these (there is a connection with part of the name of the cache). Take a waypoint. Alter the last three north digits to 884, and change the last three west digits to 426. That’s where the cache is! And it’s on the way to the second area of interest!
