Geocache Description:

The above coordinates are for a car park not a million miles away from the cache; however there is closer parking after working the clues out should you wish.

The first part of the cache involves searching for the following information linked to the hobby of geocaching:

1. On April 27 of which year did GPS reach FOC?
2. From this answer, subtract the year when the very first ever satellite was launched?

Answer = AB

3. Add together all of the latitude digits belonging to the first ever geocache.
4. Multiply this by the amount of active (not spare) NavStar satellites in orbit.
5. Subtract from this number how many thousands of square miles (to the nearest thousand) occupy the country where the new sport of GPS speedsurfing originated (careful with this one).

Answer = CDE

6. Add together all of the longitude digits belonging to the first ever geocache.
7. Add to this the last two digits (separately) of the GPS frequency that we use (civilian, not military). These are the two numbers to the right of the decimal point and must be added individually!

Answer = FG

8. What distance, in kilometres, is the circular orbit of today’s NavStar satellites?
9. Divide this by the ‘Space Wing’ number housed at the GPS Master Control Station.
10. Add to this the number of the Wiltshire ‘A’ road to the south of a very primitive and famous construction probably built to worship the sky in which today’s satellites roam!

Answer = HJK

The total of AB+CDE+FG+HJK should come to 1402

The telephone number reads LMNPQ-RSTUVW.
Subtract QPL from the original CDE for the cache coordinates.
Subtract S(T+U)L from the original HJK for the cache coordinates.
