My grandfather was one of the last original
cowboys in my family. He worked on a ranch and rode a horse
most of the day. I remember visiting the ranch when I was six
and riding a horse for the first time. Driving through this
area reminded me of the time we visited his ranch.
The word equidome is most commonly associated with equestrian
arenas. There are numerous arenas across the US that have
'equidome' in the name. I hope they will forgive me as I use it in
a slightly different manner. The name should make sense when you
arrive at the cache location. Please use caution and be aware of
ticks, snakes and other critters. Look before you reach under rocks
and into bushes. I hope you enjoy the cache and the view.
