This is an event cache . This date is correct but the coords are slightly off. We will be meeting in the parking lot for the Salt Springs Trail these coords will get you close then look for the large group of cachers. I will post the meeting time tommorrow to the cache page with any other needed changes.
The purpose for the event will be to recieve a report from our resident represenative with the Forest Service 2LuknF8. Buce recently had an oppurtunity to participate in the spend a day with a Ranger program with The National Forest Service. During the Day he had the oppurtunity to discuss caching and it's impact on the National Forest. Bruce will also be bringing us a report on some changes that are being considered in the forst and their impact on caching.
We will have special guest with us from PA. CCCooper will be visiting with us and we will be taking in some of the local scenery, wildlife and caches after the event. There are many new caches in the forest so please check out the oppurtunities before coming down. If you need anymore details contact the fed at through my profile.

The event will start 10:00 am Island Time for those unfamiliar with this term = straggle in before 11 and you will find us there. after 11:00 we will be on frs channel 2 in the Salt Springs Area till who knows we will then be heading south. We will be doing 1 or both of the night caches in Juniper Wilderness Saturday night if anyone wants to make arrangements to meet with us please contact me and we can set up a schedule.
