Ammo can with a mountain bike/cycling theme hidden along the Desert Classic Trail at South Mountain Park.
Suggest that you park at the Pima Canyon Parking lot at N33 21.767 and W111 59.111. The cache is located 2 miles in along the Desert Classic Trail (4 mile round trip). The trail is a multi-use trail open to mountain bikers, hikers and equestrians. Please be aware that you are in rattlesnake country and keep an eye out for them.
Desert Classic was the very first trail that I did on a mountain bike and is still one of my favorites. The trail is a great cross country course and is 9 miles long (18 miles out and back). It is a fairly flat trail that goes over several rollers and thru many washes. The ammo can is hidden less than 15 feet off the trail. It has a few stickers on the outside of it and feel free to place your own cycling related sticker on it if you like. All the original continents are mountain biking/cycling related. You do not have to trade cycling related items, but if you have them it would be great. Please re-hide the cache as well or better than you find it.
