Geocache Description:

In the woods at a family park

This is the third in a series of "Float Your Boat" caches which are hidden at places where you can launch a boat. While this one does not have a traditional boat launch, you could launch a canoe or inflatable boat here. There is a great fishing dock that is wheelchair accessible so bring your fishing gear. This is a traditional cache, which, like the first and second, is in a nice family park with pavilions with picnic tables, a charcoal grill and Porta-Potties. There is a sandy beach but no Life Guards, so there is no swimming allowed. The cache has a kids theme with toys and puzzles as it is a good place to bring a family and spend an afternoon. The cache is about 500 feet from the parking area off in the woods. This cache includes a camera. Please take a picture of yourself, or something you think is worthwhile and I will post some of them to the logs when I develop and scan the photos. There will be at more "Float Your Boat" caches coming as the area in which I live is along the shore of Kentucky Lake and we are rich in recreational areas (and I have a new boat, so I get to do two hobbies at once).
