At this site, two Confererate Generals, both educated at West Point fought in a duel because Gen. Marmaduke felt that Gen. Walker had failed to properly support him at the Battle of Reed's Bridge and the Battle of Helena.
Quick Grab here! ...I think this might be the last Civil War marker in Pulaski County left un-cached. It's a clear 3mm canister that you can just about reach without even getting out of the car.
