1) The published coordinates are for the location of the first stop. At the first waypoint you will see an object with an inscription on it. Take note of it.
2) To find the coordinates of the second stop do the following:
a. Add together all the digits of all the numbers that appear in the inscription on the object at the first location
b. The answer will be called the SUM
c. The coordinates of the second stop will be N 39 15.979 + (SUM/1000), W 076 47.719 – (SUM/1000)
At the second stop you will find an object with an inscription on it. Take note of it.
3) To determine the coordinates of the third stop, do the following:
a. Note the date (i.e. day number) the railroad was completed to here. It will be in the form of NUMBER = AB
b. The coordinates of the third stop are calculated N 39 14.939 + (0.0AB), W 076 49.242 + (0.0BA)
The third stop will be the largest of several objects at an entrance gate. NOTE: The final stage has been moved slightly. The following leads you to the new location.
4) To find the cache, use the GFNT method (look up “Getting Your Bearing" by tomulus, GCHDGE to see how to use this approach). Using GFNT, travel away from the third stop object at an indicated bearing of 2 degrees (TRUE) and a distance of 231 ft. You will not be able to travel in a straight line. The cache is a small container. It holds a logbook, pencil, and a few very small trading objects. The cache is well hidden, so please return it to its place the same way you found it.
