fellsmanhiker: This cache is rarely visited these days so it's time to scrap it,I am planing a new round of caches in this area and I might use this location again.

This is a short walk along the Rusland valley,following the Rusland pool,but like any cache walk, can be extended for as long or as far as you like if you plan out your route with the relevant OS map,if starting from the suggested parking spot it should take no more than an hour there and back. The suggested parking place is on the wide grass verge almost opposite the Blackbeck caravan park on the Haverthwaite to Bouth road, where there is a stile giving access to the footpath which leads directly to the cache.
