A regular cache hidden in Heriot's Wood
You approach this cache (a clear plastic container) through scented pinewoods. You may have a little battle with a babbling brook, however, should you approach the cache from the wrong side of the brook, then it is easily crossable.
We would recommend that you take a short walk up to the nearby Deer Park, as the charming little Muntjac Deers are very friendly.
Wellies are recommended when wet. Intrepid cachers may with to venture to Boot pond, which is actually shaped like a boot!
Recommended parking for this and the other three ‘Priory’ caches is at 51°37.743'N, 0°19.427'W, and the footpath can be accessed via Priory Drive (this is a private Road so you can not park there). Alternatively you can combine these caches with the ‘Grim’ caches and park at 51°37.228'N, 0°20.968'W (both car parks are free).
