This is a shortish hike up a rocky hill that is covered with Cholla. I wouldn't take pets or small children on this hike. The views are excellent.
This is a medium sized cache container hidden on a hilltop which I nicknamed "Cholla Hill" for a very good reason as you'll see when you climb out of the car.
Park along Kinney Road at the K7 pullout and take the trail east. The direct assault up the hill from this direction may not be the most painless route. An alternate route has fewer Cholla if you approach from the North side of the hill. In any case, be very careful and don't say I didn't warn you! There is a faint trail through the rocks from the West. From the north is more of a bushwack.
Amongst the highlights of the initial contents are a baseball, a flashlight and a Team My Blue Heaven signature keychain.
The 3.5 rating on the terrain is for the combination of rocks and cholla cacti that guard this hilltop. I'd probably rate it about a 2.5 based on the climb alone.
The park this cache is in is closed between 10PM and 7AM.
