Each letter in the picture represents a number and each number has a colour associated with it. The letters A to J represent the numbers 0 to 9 and the letters L to Z are an assortment of easy calculations based on A to J.

The L to Z answers can be found spread between the three caches and once you have found each individual cache inside each log book are details on how to find which 0 to 9 numbers and colours match the letters A to J.
