Geocache Description:


The cache is in a very scenic area of Hawkins Pond Nature Area near Windsor New York. There are at least three ways to approach this cache, and the steepness of the terrain and the distance, which is a maximum of one-half mile, depends upon which direction you choose. Bring your lunch and a camera and enjoy the view!



This is one of two caches in the nature center. It is accessible in the winter by snow shoes. I don't recommend skiing to it. The cache is in an ammo box and is filled with outdoors hiking and skiing items.
