Davey Jones Locker is known for two things: the first is the
traditional Burial at Sea and the other is where the Pirates
Treasure is stored. The tradition Burial at Sea is an ancient
tradition. As far as anyone knows this has been a practice as long
as people have gone to sea. In earlier times, the body was sewn
into a sailcloth shroud, weighted with gold and silver coins. The
body was then sent over the side, usually with an appropriate
religious ceremony.
The other is where the famous pirates like Blackbeard, Captain
Kidd, Black Bart and Ann Bonny hid their stolen treasures of coins
and gold trinkets. Some of the treasures have yet to be found. The
treasure trove cache is a small size lock top container and has
been know to house coins.
When performing a burial at sea or depositing your coins of gold
here, make sure that they are in your personal inventory. Please
post a short note in the pirates log on line and at the cache
giving information on the bounty.
Cache is now a small ammo can. Please hide cache like you found
it.
