This cache is an easy one to find as it's on the beautiful campus at University of Redlands. The camera is located at the Hunsaker University Center and mounted on top of the entrance to the Campus Bookstore.
This webcam cache, like many others, requires some coordination on your part. This is best done with remote online access with a laptop on-site. An easier option is to go to the coordinates, call your buddy on your cell phone who's at a computer, and tell him to save the picture for you.
Just go to www.redlands.edu/webcam.xml. If that link fails, go to www.redlands.edu and click on "Bulldog Cam" at the top of the page. You should now be at the live camera feed page. Click the "Start Control" button and then go to the "Commons" preset. Once you've found yourself on the camera, BE SURE TO WAVE. Click the camera icon to freeze the camera shot of yourself waving at the camera. See my posted photo entitled "Hello" for an example of the shot I need.
IMPORTANT:
Picture of logger WAVING AT CAMERA must accompany log to get credit for this cache. Logs without picture or logs with logger not waving WILL BE DELETED. Again, a simple photo at the cache site will not work. Photo must show you WAVING AT CAMERA.
From my experience this is best done on PC. I used a MAC for the original shot but had a heck of a time saving the correct photo.
