Sgt. Pepper and Penny Lane: Well, 20 and a half years for a cache isn't bad. Our very first . A cacher went to find it yesterday and the guard at the entrance told her that no one was allowed back there anymore. The government had taken over the area. Maybe someday someone will stumble across the little cave (well, an ammo can size cave) that it was hidden in.

Geocache Description:

Take exit 64 off of northbound I-15 to the east. Follow the frontage road until the paved road ends and turns right. Fire up the GPS and go. Recommend staying on the lower road. The road a bit higher up the mountain gets bad fast and then you have to back out. It's only a .16 mile hike to the cache.

This is our first cache and is a surprise for Sgt. Pepper for our 25th/Silver Wedding anniversary. Most of the starting contents are "silver" or "25" in nature. This is just the theme to start out with, I don't intend for it to stay that way.

Container is a 50 cal. ammo can painted silver with lots of goodies including a camera for you to take your picture with if you like. If someone could let me know when the film is used up I'll run on out and replace it.

A bit of climbing and some loose, sharp rocks so bring a pair of gloves. HAPPY CACHING!
