Located along a rarely travelled portion of the trails inside Quiet Waters Park
This is a traditional Ammo-Box cache. The main purpose of the cache is for trading games (old video games in particular). The first games inside the cache are "catchphrase" and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3" (for the NES). Initially, the cache also included the following random unrelated items:
Notepad and pen (of course!)
two small bells
canadian nickle
bubbles
To get to the cache, I suggest parking in the parking lot behind the visitor center. Start out on the Harness Creek Path (towards the kayak rental). About halfway to the rental booth there is a small foot-path off to the right. Follow this path for about half a mile. Some of the views are spectacular and well worth it.
Please return the cache as hidden as you found it to keep muggles from discovering it and running away with the loot!
And remember, the basic concept behind this cache is video-games, so keep that in mind when you make a trade!!!
Note: Quiet Waters Park is closed on Tuesdays. There is a $5/car entry fee all other days (free for pedestrians).
