Geocache Description:

This cache is located within the Rockaway River WMA area and situated along a small mountain stream. The water cascades down a steep rock structure and the terrain is a gentle uphill walk. No steep mountain climbing needed.

Park at or near(N40 58.043 W074 33.679)along Berkshire Vally road at mile marker #3, going NE towards Milton or Oak Ridge. The stream crosses the road at this point with a guardrail on its sides and enough room to pull off the road. You can follow the sream up or bushwack to the cache location. There is a steep rock outcropping at the cache site so PLEASE be careful when approaching. Cache is located on the mountain side of the stream, crossing is possable at many locations. The cache container is one of my homemade tubes, but deluxe size, please just tighten until lid is secure. No need to move stones cache is only covered with a litte leaf layer. Please cover to rehide. Depending upon the water run off, the falls could be slow or a good cascading flow. Nice spot on a hot summer day! Treequest
