Geocache Description:

This cache is located near the head of North East Valley.

There is a good view down the valley from here. (Although approximately half a kilometre further up the road where it makes a sharp right turn is a better view. It was at this point that Brown House was situated. This was a hall with a central fire place and windows along the side facing the city. It was a popular place for dances and weddings. Unfortunately it burnt down some years ago.)

This spot won as there there is better parking and a seat.

The cache is a camo painted 350ml snap lock container which is not visible from any distance. It contained small trading items.
