Geocache Description:


This cache is located near the Wiltshire and Berkshire (formely North Wilts)canal where it route takes it near to a vast new housing development in Swindon. The North Wilts Canal was nine miles long and had twelve locks. With aqueducts over the River Ray near here, and a short tunnel near Cricklade. It was opened on 2nd April 1819, linking the Wilts & Berks Canal at Swindon to the Thames & Severn Canal. More information can be found at www.wilts-berks-canal.org.uk/.

The cache consists of a tuppaware container with all the usual goodies
