Munden Point Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

CardinalReviewer: Spoke with cache owner a few days ago. They are no longer actively caching and asked that I archive anything that has become problematic. It had a log run and many finds. Thanks to all who visited this great park.

Geocache Description:

This cache has been relocated with the help of the park supervisor, after he found it out in the park area.

We found evidence of a fox in the nearby area,in fact he appears to be living at the old cache location. Use caution when hunting this cache, watch for snakes, thorns, and keep an eye out for the fox.

Munden Point Park, a 100-acre facility located on the North Landing River, was formerly a famous waterfowl-hunting site. It is now an excellent site for naturalists, as it provides canoe and kayak access to the Intracoastal Waterway, low swampy woodlands along swampy creek, forests of tall pine and sweetgum, and the borders of salt marshes.
