Geocache Description:

Easy cache celebrating our local plants and parkland!

This site previously hosted the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area visitor center, but now that has been moved to King Gillette Ranch in Calabasas. You may see rangers/scientists who still work here, but visitor services are now at KGR. This is still a scenic spot, with great views. Plenty of free parking above the cache.
