The Glorious Cause (the name of a Jeff Shaara’s historical novel on the American Revolution) and the name many in Wasington's army used to describe their goal/sacrifice) is three-stage multi-cache at a beautiful historic spot in downtown Staunton, Virginia. This is a log-only cache to which you should bring a sharp pencil and your reading glasses.
There is much to observe and enjoy if you have the time to linger on these hallowed grounds -- an important final resting place for Revolutionary War soldiers in Virginia. Augusta County and Staunton have more Revolutionary War gravesites than just about any other locality in the Commonwealth.
