Geocache Description:

8-1-24: Not sure why but there is no signage at the exit. Be sure to take the first exit after getting into Lousiana! Also wanted to add that even though it's flat and easy, the roundtrip walk is around a quarter mile. There's a decent chance you'll see some swampy wildlife along the way.

At the Louisiana Tourist Park they have a really nice board walk. Nearby is the cache Guardian, a one-eyed tree monster with many teeth.

9-26-22: The boardwalk has finally reopened so we went out today and moved the cache back to its original location. It's hidden similarly to how it was first placed back in 2005. Unfortunately, you won't be able to see the One Eyed Tree Monster since it has long passed away. The container is a bit larger than a micro sized container and is hanging.

I could not resist taking a picture of the "Pet Rest Area" and "The One-Eyed Tree Monster" If you look closely you can see the cypress knees inside the trunk, looks like a bunch of sharp teeth.

To help ease the finding of this one in case of muggle activity, the hint below pretty much gives it away.
