Geocache Description:

This can be the first and / or last cache in Louisiana via I-10. Depending on where you're headed. This is basically a copy of my Texas cache. But I like LA so much, that I had to hide one here.

A couple of days after some heavy rains, the area is relatively dry. It's hid high enough to avoid being washed away by floods, and is not hard to get to. I wanted to make it easy for ya.

There is an over pass in Venton about a couple of miles from there. I mention this because you may need to make a big circle.

This cache is a camoflaged film canister. Bring your own pen.

Be careful at night, once you get off the road, the water is upon you pretty quickly. I Thought I was going to plant the truck in part of the Sabine River.
