Planes & Trains Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Prairie Dog: I'm archiving this cache because it was "borrowed" by some muggles and they have yet to return it. How rude!
No, seriously. In thinking about replacing this cache I've come to the conclusion that I would move it to a different area of the park (new coordinates), change the container (new description), and do something evil with the camouflage (new difficulty level). Basically I'd be hiding a brand new cache. So thanks to everyone who found this cache. Sorry it got stolen. I guess someone needed it more than us.

Geocache Description:

I have named this cache because of it's close proximity to the Columbia Owens downtown airport and the train yard to the South-West. Heavy tree cover here makes for poor GPS reception. Get a good GPS fix before entering the woods. Boots, long pants, and long sleeves are recommended for the briars in the area.

This park has a frisbee disc golf course, baseball fields, soccer fields, and a skate park. Leashed dogs are welcome.
Be sure to check out the airport across the street. You can park at the end of the runway like in Waynes World and watch the planes. Sorry, no big jets here it's only a 5000' runway.
The old Curtis Wright hangar located at N 33.58.624 W 81.00.125 houses a B-25 Mitchell bomber that took part in the Doolittle raid from World War II.
