Geocache Description:

This is the 2nd in MMM series. This cache is a puzzle cache, and you will have to decipher certain clues at six different locations to fill in the coordinates to the actual cache location. If you have time, take the opportunity to explore some of the places you will be going. I promise you will not be dissapointed. One warning. At the final stage, (the actual cache) you will be HIGHLY susectible to muggles unless you you come at it from the right direction.

Hop in the car and let's go for a tour of some of Ponca City's historic places.

The coordinates for this cache are:

The following formula will be used at some of the clue sites to help you fill in the missing numbers.

Step 1. Go to the coordinates listed at the top of this page. Here you will find a sign with two words on it. Take the third letter of the first word, and use the formula above to change this letter into a number. The resulting digit goes into the coordinates in the place of the letter Y.

Step 2. Hop back in the car, and go to N 36.42.618 W 097.03.910. At this location you will find a sign with hours of operation listed for the building you are in front of. Take the first digit of the opening time on Sunday, and put this digit in the coordinates in place of the letter V

Step 3. Proceed on to coordinates N36.42.180 W 097.04.301. Here you will find a sign with various information listed on it. Take the last digit from the year listed on this sign, and put this digit in the coordinates in place of the letter Z

Step 4. Next stop is coordinates N 36.42.204 W 097.04.652. At this location you will find a statue. Take the first letter of the middle name of the person of this statue, and use the formula above to change this letter into a number. Put the resulting digit in the coordinates in place of the letter T.

Step 5. Before you hop back into your car, take a short walk to coordinates N 36.42.205 W 097.04.708. You will find here yet another statue. You will find two dates on this statue. Take the last digit of the year on the upper left, and put this number into the coordinates in the place of the letter X.

Step 6. NOW hop back in the car, and proceed to the final clue at these coordinates. N36.40.984 W097.04.465. Directly under you GPS will be the name of an Indian Tribe. Take the 4th letter in the name of the tribe, and use the formula above to change this letter into a number. Put the resulting digit into the coordinates in place of the letter U.

Step 7. What are you looking here for? You've got all the information you need already, so GO GET THAT CACHE!
