Where: The site of the old Talbotville Township When: March 12-14 What's there? Civilization wise; not a lot. A couple of self composting toilets and that's it. Camping wise; A large grassy camping area along the banks of the Crooked River, beautiful! What'll we do? Whatever you like; there are plenty of 4WD tracks to explore for the adventurous, there are a number of existing caches in the area, or just drop a line in the river and see what's biting, it's up to you. How to get there: Drive to Dargo and then follow the Dargo High Plain's Road to the Mc Millan Road turn off then follow the Mc Millan Road all the way to Talbotville. This route is suitable for 2WD vehicles, beyond Talbotville a 4WD is required. For those with a 4WD there are other more exciting ways to approach the camp site. What to bring: Everything you'll need to be comfortable for a weekend in the bush.
