Geocache Description:

A walk through the Prince of Wales park, Bingley.

Work on the park began on 10th March 1863, the wedding day of the Prince of Wales and was named in his honour upon its opening on 6th June 1865. 15,000 trees were planted, including 50 from The Prince's Estate at Sandringham.

There are many well-maintained footpaths leading through mature trees and shrubbery and plenty of seats to sit and watch the birds and squirrels.

The cache is a small container hidden at the edge of a clearing in the woodland and at the time of placing contained the usual trade items,

We hope you enjoy it.
