own refreshments and we'll have the
Tri-Tip (upgraded from Carne Asada), Beans, Tortillas and Salad for a BBQ cookout or (B.Y.O. Favorite)
at Mittry Lake. Might want to throw in an
extra chair or two for comfort! Please
post (WILL ATTEND) on this page to R.S.V.P, and how many so we can get a
count for food.
New at caching, come on out and get some
advice and help with that new G.P.S., I'm sure there will be plenty of experts
who will show up and help.
The above coordinates will get you there. Take Laguna Dam
Rd. (Ave 7E) North off of Hwy. 95 (16th St.) Appox. 1.5 mi. from end of the
pavement.
Planned Activities:
This is the spot:
Not a contest, just an interesting exercise where everyone will be given a
marker and a set of coordinates. You place the marker at the spot where your GPS
indicates the coordinates are located. This put things in a perspective as to
how you can get a different location for a cache.
Travel Bug Exchange. Bring a travel bug that you would like to exchange, some
cacher may be able to help it along.
COMMEMORATIVE CACHE: Bring a item to place in this special cache.
There will be a drawing of all contributors to see who will get to hide the
cache.
Hopefully in the Yuma area. Please no KFC towelettes, mustard packs, motel
shampoo or soap.
We will supply a 50 Cal. ammo box, log book, pen and pencils.
