Max Cacher: Greetings from Geocaching.com

It looks like your cache has been under the weather for some time. While we feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. So that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

If you are in the process of replacing or repairing your cache please e-mail me in response to this archival, and I will unarchive your cache.

After we posted a note to you cache requesting a response from you to post what you were planning to do with the cache on the page and sending us a note. We have no record of a response, and no response tells us that you are not planning on replacing, or repairing this cache if we are wrong with that assumption please let me know.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located at Jemison Park and will take you on a very pleasant 3 mile stroll through a very popular and safe park for joggers, dog walkers, and Mountain Brook mommy power-walkers. Expect frog-style evil micro hides for each stage. Extreme stealth may be needed to retrieve final stage. Joggers can appear very quickly so look both ways before searching!

Robert Jemison Jr. was responsible for the development of the Mountain Brook area, thought by many to be too far from the business district to be successful. His contribution to the area was commended with the City of Mountain Brook dedicating Jemison Park in his honor. In 1971, he was elected one of the ten greatest men of Birmingham in a centennial poll by the city’s Chamber of Commerce.

No math, no puzzles, just a series of fun and evil micro hides leading you to a small container full of an assortment of squished pennies with airplane and dinosaur themes. Each child cacher may take one flattened penny for themselves with NO trade required. Adult cachers with flattened pennies are encouraged to trade 1 for 1 and leave the traded squished penny or other interesting coin/token in the marked film canister for the cache owner. There are also a few small standard trade items and there is room for small travel bugs.

All stages are within 20 feet of walking trails/sidewalks

Warning: Hints are spoilers.

First to find prize is a Silver Benjamin Franklin Half Dollar, but you're going to have to FIND it!
