Geocache Description:

A Regular sized cache hidden in the Coulson Tract, a part of the Halton Regional Forest Management Plan.

The Regional Municipality of Halton currently owns 665.72 ha (1,645 acres) of forests on 14 separate tracts of land. The Halton Regional Forest was one of several Agreement Forests in Ontario previously managed by the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources. However, with the expiry of the management agreement, Halton Region has assumed responsibility for its management. Most of the forest tracts fall within the Niagara Escarpment Plan Area, designated a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO.
Thirteen of the 14 Halton Regional Forest tracts are located above the Niagara Escarpment in the Flamborough Plain physiographic region. Only the Coulson Tract is located below the Niagara Escarpment in the Peel Plain physiographic region.
This is a ~2.5L camouflaged container located in the Halton Regional Management Plan Coulson Tract and will be part of a future larger multi-cache project called the Halton Forest Management Areas Multi-Agreement Series. Each stage is a standalone cache and may be treated as such. If you wish to find the future final cache, you must collect the secret from each of the stage caches ( in any order but remember which cache the secret came from). You should log this cache as normal, but be sure to get the cache secret located on the inside of the cache lid in order to participate in the future multi-cache. The posted coordinates are for the Staging Area and not the final cache location. You will have to figure out where the final cache is based on the two clues located at this location.

Staging Area: At the posted coordinates you will see a memorial. There are two dates listed on the plaque. List the first date as x.xxx and the second date as y.yyy.

Final: To figure out where the final cache is located Subtract x.xxx from 43.36.349 to obtain the North coordinates and Add y.yyy to 79.48.658 to obtain the West coordinates.

A Trail that will take you close to the cache area is located at the SW corner of the Tract at N43.34.328 W79.50.773

You will be parking on the side of the road. Watch the cars (there aren't too many) when walking along the road.

When cache initially placed it contained the usual assortment of trinkets, log book, "Pining for the Forest" TB, pencil, etc.
