Valentine's Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Lactodorum: Hi, this looks suspiciously like the cache has gone. Could the owner please undertake a maintenance visit to check if it's there or not. In the meantime I'm archiving it but I'll happily unarchive it if/when it's found assuming it still meets the guidelines.

Thanks, Lactodorum

Geocache Description:

Set in the middle of the misty marshes this location has been favoured by painters, however the men who worked and lived there led lonely lives.

Romney Marsh is well known for its sheep and originally the shepherds lived in small one-roomed huts on the marshes - Looker's huts - to care for the sheep. There was normally a pen nearby and often a sheep dip. At lambing season they would only see their families when the family came to visit bringing supplies of food.
The contents of the cache when it was placed were just right for Valentine's Day - a valentines card, scented candles, a bear holding a heart and a light-up valentine pen.
Be careful in hiding the cache again as the location is sometimes used by youths.
