Come visit Double Rock Park in the Parkville community of Baltimore County, right at the edge of the Beltway between Belair and Harford Roads. Here you'll find a wonderful wooded oasis amidst a densely-developed area. Enjoy!
Your first step will be to find an entrance to Double Rock Park! Options include the main entrance off a side street accessed via Harford Road, a little-known rear entrance by the "Double Rock Shop" along southbound Belair Road between the Baltimore Beltway and the shopping center, or various pedestrian accesses in the surrounding neighborhood. The length of your trek to the cache will vary based upon the entrance you choose. The cache itself is very near a marked trail not far from one of the park's pavilions. Plan to spend some time exploring the myriad trails that wind through the wooded stream valley, and say hello to all of the "dog people" who use the park.
