The title of this cache is once again a play on a book title we
heard about on NPR about interesting "pop culture" sights in the
country. This sight is more historical than pop, and once again it
is another death marker.
The coordinates to the trail head is: N 37° 11.529 / W 077°
28.821. As you enter the residential area go 180° around the circle
and park at the wood line.
Follow the trail to the stone marker. The cache is located about
200 feet away. Every year on the anniversary of his death a group
adds some historical flags in remembrance of this person. The cache
is in a location that is visited often just not regularly so please
re-hide the container better/or as well as you found it. Please do
not ruin the surprise of this cache by naming the historical figure
who died here. Feel free to email me with any thoughts.
This cache only holds a log book and
information about this person's death. I encourage travel
bugs/geocoins (small ones, but there isn't enough room for trades.
Please email me if there are not any more printouts of the
historical information left in the cache.
