Geocache Description:

Short multi cache taking place in village of Westwood near Trowbridge. Can get muddy and not really suitable for pushchairs. Should take around 30 mins to complete.

Westwood Manor is a 15th century stone Manor House open to the public between 4th April and 29th September each year. It is administered for the National Trust by the tenant, and was altered in the early 17th century with late Gothic and Jacobean windows and fine plasterwork. It has a modern topiary garden and attractive views over the Frome Valley.

Restored and furnished by Edgar Lister from 1910 onwards, he left the property to the National Trust in 1953.
