Eco Cache Traditional Cache

Park at the Ecology Park outside of Cañon. Head to the SW gate .45 mile, and follow main trail that will take you to Grape Creek. The trails are very good to the creek about .5 mile. Head down creek about .2 mile – trail becomes a beaten grass path. You do not need to cross the creek but there are a couple of areas along the creek that little tikes will need a hand. Cache is about 15 feet off trail. Overall hike to cache is 1.1 miles.
Cache is in a clear 8in round Tupperwarish container. Original contents: logbook, pencil, various mini flashlights, dog toy, alligator, magnifier, whistle, hookless lures etc. Accessible all year but keep eye out for snakes in warm months. You can hike down creek about another .5 mile before you get to private property. There are several areas along the way for a nice picnic. Enjoy!
