Geocache Description:

We all wish CatBert bonvoyage who is moving down to the Lone Star state. Next time I visit TX, I'll look up CatBert caches and visit them!

There are lots of nice walking trails in Reston, so here is an opportunity to explore the North Point Trail, one of the relatively lightly used trails. The trek to the cache is paved all the way except for the final push. Parking in the surrounding neighborhoods is limited and restricted, so I highly recommend you park at the tennis courts off of North Village Rd. (coordinates N38 59.192 and W77 20.508). After parking head southeast and turn left onto the trail at Marker # 7, to avoid having to cross busy Whiele Ave. If you keep a sharp eye out on the left side of the trail walking in you might see a deer. After finding the cache (you will find it!) why not continue on the trail, instead of going back the way you came, until it ends in a local neighborhood. If you marked the parking area as a waypoint you can navigate back to it using your GPSr, or just follow the roads until you find your way back. It's an enjoyable walk! The container is a standard ammo can, initially stocked with some swag for both adults and kids. There is a disposable camera so be sure to take some pictures! Enjoy the walk!
