Geocache Description:

You are looking for a small camo container, little larger than a 35mm. Log only, BYOP

The McConnell family were early settlers of Scott County having moved here from Pennsylvania. Buried in this cemetery are descendants of George McConnell, who was born in 1721 in Ireland. McConnels are noted for being Teachers, Professors and Doctors. Chances are, if you live in Scott County, your related to a McConnell. Once a year the McConnell Clan gets together for a "hooley" in the Nickelsville area.

Cache is accessible from road side of fence. Can be access from either side however. If you go through the gate, make sure you close it behind you. Feel free to go up and read the gravestones. Some interesting history here.
